This Almond and Maple syrup cake is the perfect end to any meal ! It’s Parev but it’s absolutely sensational as it does not taste like a ‘Parev’ dessert. Serve with custard or a scoop of your favourite vanilla ice cream .
- Beat the above together with an electric beater to get out all the lumps.
- Place into a fluted pie dish or Pyrex dish and cover with a packet of flaked almonds.
- Bake at 165 °c for 45 minutes. As soon as it comes out of the oven pour over half a bottle of maple syrup (or if you cannot find maple syrup then maple flavoured syrup.)
- Serve warm and enjoy.
